Conclusion

This project will bring a simple standalone application tool for the manipulation of array design from a file format to another. (ADF and MAGE-ML). Thanks to its data checker and an helper tool for ADF creation, it will help to the used of file strict compliance with the specification, but also to the spread of the MAGE-ML and MIAME without user knowledge of the complex MAGE-OM.
However, the tool is initially focused on ADF to MAGE-ML conversion, which will be certainly the main use of this tool for the submission of ADFs, and to the usual microarray application use case (the bulk of submission): gene expression.
Of course, this tool could be improve in new release by adding a best support for MAGE-ML checking and conversion, allowing a real update of data containing in MAGE-ML file.
